This is a friendly and festive regatta, where the goal is naturally to make your boat sail, but above all to enjoy sailing along the sumptuous coast of Belle-Ile-en-Mer among friendly crews.
On the friendly side, the crew dinner will take place after the Tour and the prize-giving ceremony in the evening on the docks of the Port de Palais.
The Tour is an official regatta, included in the calendar of the French Sailing Federation. Multihulls gauged multi2000 are classified as compensated time. Monohulls gauged Osiris are also classified as compensated time. The other boats are classified in real time, in 3 categories: monohulls less than 9 meters, monohulls more than 9 meters and multihulls.
For those who will challenge the records of the tour of the island in real time, from Le Palais to Le Palais, let us recall that these records are today: in multihull, 2 hours, 29 minutes and 37 seconds, held by KRABANOU and in monohull, 3 hours, 02 minutes and 17 seconds, held by BT BLUE.
For those who do not wish to make the grand tour of Belle-Ile, they can opt for the proposed « inner course », which will take them to the Pointe des Poulains to return to the Passage de la Teignouse and join Le Palais.
